·         Provide the vision and leadership to ensure the operational and financial strength of the company

·         Coordinate parallel execution of all procedures and systems to achieve our objectives and timelines

·         Oversee Human Resources. Source, interview and hire executive team and negotiate compensation and benefits

·         Ensure the financial solvency of the company. Create capital adequacy plan and secure external investment

·         Protect the company. Ensure that all company operations and relationships are properly contracted and in accordance with state and federal law. Select and liaise with legal firms

·         Compile, organize and catalog all legal documents for company security

·         Secure exclusive international rights to Gerald Barber’s IP for onshore wind turbines up to 1.6MW

·         Founded and inspired a brand of high-performing and stylish equestrian apparel for riders and for horses

·         Provided strategic sales and marketing direction which propelled the company into being recognized as an international brand

·         Provided the vision and leadership to assure the Moxie brand promise and identity aligned across all product categories

2003 - 2006

Owner and President

 

·         As a licensed interior designer and allied ASID member, founded the company to help clients re-envision what’s possible in their environments

·         Worked closely with clients to understand their vision and the functionality of the spaces to be addressed

·         Collaborated with clients to blend each client’s personality and style to create the perfect atmosphere

·         Created beautiful interiors and functional workspaces that improved the way clients lived, worked and played

·         Collaborated with 45 clients in five southeastern U.S. states

·         Closed company to open Moxie Equestrian, Inc.

 

 

BI-LO, Inc.

1987 - 2003

Corporate Manager, Creative Services and Web Marketing

 

·         Directed the Creative Marketing team in developing sales and marketing materials to support USD $3B in annual sales

·         Directed the Website Marketing team to create the first BI-LO website for customer service and strategic insight into shopping preferences and patterns

·         Assured the consistency of the brand image across all channels and materials

·         Created and executed 65 – 85 projects from concept through deployment monthly

·         As Project Director, was responsible for the annual BI-LO Expo in charge of strategic direction, set-up, tear down, management of staffing and overseeing the operations of twenty-five booths

·         Was chosen to develop and implement a higher-margin private label brand division that appealed to the target audience

·         Managed seven direct reports
